First Big Balloon Build in the USA Happening in the Tri-State area on April 9

Hasbro Inc., and The Hershey Company have both partnered up with Valley Party Supply and United Way of Knox County to help pull off a life-sized Candyland Board Game made entirely out of balloons. 

One local balloon & party store in Vincennes, Indiana is organizing and bringing the very first International Big Balloon Build to the Tri-State area during the first week of April. 

The Big Balloon Build will be created at the Highland Woods Community Center and available for public viewing starting Saturday, April 9th at 1p.m (ET). 

Hasbro Inc., and The Hershey Company have both partnered up with Valley Party Supply and United Way of Knox County to help pull off a life-sized Candyland Board Game made entirely out of balloons. This is the first time in history that Hasbro has granted permissions for their iconic board game to be recreated using balloons.

“If you can imagine the most incredible mind-blowing thing you’ve ever seen made out of balloons…THIS IS IT”, said Liz Romani, Manager of Valley Party Supply. “We’ve been developing this event for at least two years, working closely with United Way of Knox County and turning this into an amazing opportunity to raise funds and awareness for them and this is something you definitely want to see.”

Valley Party Supply has organized over 65 balloon professionals coming from around the world, leaving their businesses to come create this once-in-a-lifetime Candyland Big Balloon Build. 

“We’ve got 22 different states represented, and five different countries coming, including Scotland, Canada, Cayman Islands, Wales and England. This is going to be MASSIVE with us using 125,000 balloons to create this magical Candyland” Liz from Valley Party Supply remarked.

There are two events the public will have a chance to see the Big Balloon Build and one of them is a special event being held on Saturday, April 9th. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be hosted by United Way where guests will have an opportunity to enjoy breakfast in the Big Balloon Build and get professional photos taken with the Bunny. The entry cost is a $25 donation to United Way per head. Please call 812-899-1109 to purchase tickets for the breakfast. There are only 200 spots available for this special event.

At 1 p.m. on April 9th, the Big Balloon Build will open up for public viewing and the cost to get inside to see it is a bag FULL of canned goods. This will help a MASSIVE food drive for the area food banks and churches.
