That’s right, WPSR Evansville has brought back the annual spring contest! This year we are hosting “Variety Mania”. I know what you’re thinking… What is this spring contest? It was a tradition here at the station, we decided to start it back up again! With the contest, we are having five fun-packed days with a new genre of music every from 12:00-2:00 P.M hosted by our own Claire Showman. The contest will run from April 26, 2021, to April 30, 2021. Let’s take a look at the themes!
Monday Mania: Classic Rock and Roll
Tuesday Blues: Folk Music
Western Wednesday: Country Music
Throwback Thursday: Iconic 2000s Pop
Funky Friday: Disco
As the listener, I assume you are thinking “well what does this have to do with a contest?” Well, you will be able to call in to (812) 777-5907 to play in fun contests like “Guess the song” or a “Finish the Lyric”! If you guessed correctly you will be able to win prizes from some of our community sponsors. Here are the lovely donors!
