Annual Evansville rodeo raises critical funds for local veteran services under the mission: Serve Those Who Have Served Us
The Hoosier Cowboy Association (HCA) proudly announced today a $24,000 donation to Hoof Beats Therapeutic Riding, a local
nonprofit providing equine-assisted therapy to veterans. The funds were raised through HCA’s annual rodeo event, which brings authentic Western tradition and family-friendly entertainment to the Tri-State area. Held each year in Evansville, Indiana, the Hoosier
Cowboy Association Rodeo draws thousands of attendees for thrilling competition and community camaraderie. All net proceeds are directed to local organizations that support those who have served the nation and community.
“This donation reflects the heart of our mission—to Serve Those Who Have Served Us,” said Alohana Jackson, President for the Hoosier Cowboy Association. “Hoof Beats Therapeutic Riding offers life-changing programs that help veterans heal, regain confidence, and reconnect through the power of horses. We’re honored to stand with them and grateful to our rodeo supporters who make this possible”
“Support from community partners like the Hoosier Cowboy Association allows us to expand access to our programs and serve more heroes in need,” said a representative from Hoof Beats Therapeutic Riding. “This generous gift will directly fund therapeutic sessions and horse care—transforming lives one ride at a time.” The Hoosier Cowboy Association continues its commitment to veteran and first-responder support through annual fundraising and community outreach.
