The West Side Nut Club is proud to announce the return of its beloved Easter tradition as it hosts the 79th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Mater Dei High School. Each year, the event brings together thousands of families for what is known as the largest and fastest Easter Egg hunt in the area. Members of the West Side Nut Club will prepare nearly 16,000 Easter eggs, each stuffed with candy and special prize tags. Lucky participants may find prizes such as local gift certificates, candy baskets, stuffed animals, and more. In addition to the egg hunt, families will have the opportunity to take photos with popular characters. While the full character lineup has not yet been finalized, past favorites expected to appear include Barny, Baby Bob, Shrek, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Big Bird, and the Easter Bunny.
The event is open to children in the following age groups: ● Pre-School ● Kindergarten ● 1st through 3rd Grade
The West Side Nut Club Easter Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 1:00 PM CST with a countdown.
