As the nights grow longer and the chill in the air becomes sharper, Evansville and the surrounding region prepare for one of its most eagerly awaited seasonal thrills: the return of the Newburgh Civitan Zombie Farm. This year, the haunt kicks off September 26 and runs through November 1 — and it promises more scares, more atmosphere, and more fun than ever before.
Located at 5466 Vann Road, Newburgh, Indiana (zip 47630), the Zombie Farm is a haunted attraction put on by the Newburgh Civitan. It draws crowds looking for spine-tingling scares, creepy environments, and that perfect Halloween-season adrenaline rush.
You can choose how scary (or not!) you want your experience to be:
-
No-Scare Guided Tours — $5.00; ideal if you’re not super into frights but want to enjoy the atmosphere. Newburgh Civitan Zombie Farm
-
Full Scares — $15.00; the full haunted-house experience, for those ready to get spooked. Newburgh Civitan Zombie Farm
Tickets are sold at the booth on-site. Here is what you can expect!
-
Dark, spooky pathway(s) through farm terrain, with actors, props, and creatures lurking in the shadows.
-
Full immersive “haunt” experience during peak hours (i.e. Full Scares times).
-
A more gentle version during No-Scare Guided Tours and Kids Day, where frights are toned down. Great for children or those who prefer milder thrills.
-
When nights are warm or the moon is low, the setting helps a lot — creepy ambient lighting, sounds, likely fog machines, jump scares, etc.
