The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science invites the community to experience Art in Bloom 2026, a vibrant celebration of creativity where floral designers transform works from the Museum’s collection into stunning fresh floral interpretations. This beloved annual event will be on display Friday, April 17 through Sunday, April 19, 2026, throughout the Museum’s galleries. This year’s Art in Bloom introduces an exciting new format, expanding beyond a single gallery to encompass the entire Museum. Participating florists will select inspiring works from across the Museum’s art, history, and science exhibitions, creating a dynamic, immersive experience that encourages visitors to see familiar collections in new and imaginative ways. “Art in Bloom continues to grow each year, and this expanded format allows designers to draw inspiration from every corner of the Museum,” said Director of Marketing, Chelsie Walker. “By bringing together floral design with art, history, and science, the event highlights creativity in all its forms.” Visitors will encounter a wide range of interpretations inspired by the Museum’s Permanent Collection Galleries as well as temporary exhibitions opening in early 2026, including the High School Art Show, an exhibition by Kirk Maynard, and Volcanoes, a dynamic science exhibition exploring the power and geology of volcanic activity.
