The event will be held Thursday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Schergens Center located at 1140 31st Street in Tell City.
Southwest Indiana Workforce and WorkOne are partnering with the Perry County Development Corporation to host a Jobapalooza job fair event for the community.
The event will be held Thursday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Schergens Center located at 1140 31st Street in Tell City.
Multiple employers have registered for the event to meet with those who are seeking employment opportunities. Registered employers include Waupaca, Mulzer Family of Companies, Trilogy Health Services, and many others.
The first 50 attendees will receive a free lunch from Taylor Made. Hometown Beauty Lounge will be on site giving out free haircuts.
Community members who attend the free event will also have the opportunity to win a gift card for gasoline.
SWIN Workforce Business Services Manager Valerie Schmidt says that this is an event the organization looks forward to planning for the communities served.
“This is a great opportunity to get resources and employers under one roof to make it easier for those seeking employment. We hope those in the community looking for employment and resources will take advantage of the event,” Valerie shares.
Whitney Zellers is the Workforce Development Specialist for Perry County Development Corporation.

Our goal is to help jobseekers connect with local employers and access the resources they need to make finding and maintaining employment easier. Events like this strengthen our local workforce and support the continued growth of Perry County.”
The event is free and open to anyone in the community needing employment or the opportunity to meet with various service providers.
