With 400 teams entered and the most since 2013 (402), the matchups for the 54th Annual IHSAA Volleyball State Tournament were announced to an online audience via IHSAAtv.org.
Sectional play begins on Tuesday, Oct. 14, and continues through Saturday, Oct. 18, at 64 sites across the four enrollment classifications. Two regional championship matches will be played in a doubleheader format at the same site on Saturday, Oct. 25 with each winner advancing to a four-team semi-state on Saturday, Nov. 1. The four state championship matches will be played for the first time at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, Nov. 8. Host sites will announce their respective playing schedules this week and the IHSAA will populate the MaxPreps.com tournament brackets that are linked at IHSAA.org.
