Victory International Film Festival 2022

The two day event will feature films from around the world, including a variety of feature films, short films, animated films, documentaries, student films and more. 

The Victory International Film Festival returns September 9-10, 2022.. The film festival kicks off September 9th with a Red Carpet Event and screening of selected films at Evansville's Historic Victory Theatre. 

Selected films will be announced at an Announcement Party at 5 pm on Sunday August 14th at the Haynie's Corner Brewing Company (56 Adams Avenue, Evansville IN).  Along with the announcement of this year's selected films, we will be screening several trailers to the films and announcing the merit award nominees.

This year we are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the release of the film A League Of Their Own which will include a special screening of the original documentary film and a new documentary In Our Own League about the tri-states involvement with the production. 

The two day event will feature films from around the world, including a variety of feature films, short films, animated films, documentaries, student films and more. 

Films will be screened in several locations in Downtown Evansville on Friday and Saturday. Over 65 films will be screened during the 2 days of the festival.

Many filmmakers of the films showing will be in attendance, there will also be several panels and workshops during the events and a nightly after party.

The film festival will conclude with an awards ceremony including awards for merit in several categories and the Audience Award. $3,500.00 in prize money will be awarded. Each person in attendance will be able to vote for the Audience award which includes a $1000.00 prize plus trophy.

The Victory International Film Festival is funded in part from a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.  Portions of the proceeds will also go to the Friends of Victory on continued projects at the historic theatre.
