The Wacky, Morbid “Addams Family” comes to Boonville High School!

The talented performers take the stage March 16-19 in the Boonville High School Auditorium. Tickets are only 10 dollars!

After a successful presentation of “The Giver” in November, Boonville High School Thespians are preparing to return to the Boonville stage once again with the popular musical “The Addams Family”.

When Wednesday Addams, the renowned daughter of Gomez and Morticia known for her serious and morbid demeanor, falls in love with a seemingly normal boy named Lucas Beineke, she begs for “One Normal Night” from her family as they invite Lucas’s family into their Central Park home. The night then takes a series of turns each more strange than the last. This hilarious musical comedy centers around the beloved, quirky family you’ve grown to love with a unique storyline exploring the boundaries of love, family, and trust.

Director Mari Lyn Clark is excited to bring this contemporary show to her stage and explore these unusual characters in order to produce a spectacle for audiences. She says, “The striking portrayal of a stereotypical family as opposed to the wildly weird Addams Family creates an interesting opportunity for the cast to explore their characters and deepens their connection to the story. My goal with this show has always been to create a larger experience beyond those onstage and I cannot wait to share this with audiences in a few short weeks.”

The talented performers take the stage March 16-19 in the Boonville High School Auditorium. Tickets are 10 dollars and can be reserved at the door before each performance or by calling 812-897-4701.
