Meet Chia: A Playful Pup Looking for His Forever Home
Chia is a 6-month-old Terrier mix who is hoping his next home will be his forever home. Chia has been at Warrick Humane Society for 51 days, and this playful, energetic pup is ready for another chance at finding the right family. Chia was previously adopted, but it became clear that he was not the right match for the cats in his adoptive home. He has since returned to the shelter and is now waiting for a family that can provide the environment he needs to thrive.
Chia is a smart, playful, and high-energy dog who is always ready for his next adventure. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is highly motivated by food, making him eager to please and excited to learn. He has also been working on his potty training and would benefit from a family that is willing to continue his training and help him develop into a well-mannered adult dog.
The most important consideration for Chia's adoption is a cat-free home. His ideal family will be active and willing to provide him with plenty of exercise, structure, patience, and continued training. While Chia is still young and has plenty to learn, he also has tremendous potential to become a wonderful companion for the right family.
Chia is neutered and up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and preventive care. He is ready to leave the shelter and begin the next chapter of his life.
If you think Chia might be the right addition to your family, you can complete an adoption application at Warrick Humane Society's adoption page. We review applications in the order received.
Those interested in meeting Chia are also welcome to visit Warrick Humane Society. The shelter is open Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
