Evansville Museum Reopening Thursday, June 25

The Museum will reopen to the public beginning Thursday, July 9, and will resume Free Thursday Nights at that time with admission free hours from 5 – 8 p.m.

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science will reopen on Thursday, June 25, with a two week Museum Members Only preview. The Museum will have new operating hours effective June 25: Thursday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday & Saturday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday Noon – 5 p.m. The Museum will be closed Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Museum members will have early access to view three new exhibitions EDA STERCHI: NOMADIC SPIRIT; MARYANN MICHNA COPYCATS; and OBJECT OF THE DAY: FAN FAVORITES FROM THE PERMANENT COLLECTION. To ensure the health and well-being of our community, guests, and staff, the Museum is monitoring state and federal guidelines and has established new protocols for the facility including enhanced cleaning regimes, signage to reinforce social distancing, hand sanitizing stations, and the temporary closure of hands-on galleries and activities.
