The Evansville Thunderbolts are celebrating a decade of hockey in the River City with a special ribbon cutting ceremony in partnership with the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP) on Thursday, October 15, at 9:30 a.m. outside the Ford Center.
The ceremony will commemorate the Thunderbolts’ 10th anniversary and celebrate the organization’s continued impact on the Evansville community over the past decade. Since the inaugural season, the Thunderbolts have become a prominent part of the Evansville sports and entertainment landscape, bringing professional hockey, family-friendly entertainment and community initiatives to the region.
The celebration will feature remarks from Thunderbolts representatives and community leaders, along with a ceremonial ribbon cutting marking this important milestone for the organization.
The Thunderbolts’ 10th anniversary marks a decade filled with memorable moments both on and off the ice, including championship seasons, community events, partnerships with local organizations and countless memories created at the Ford Center.
Fans, community members, media and local business leaders are invited to attend the ceremony and help the Thunderbolts celebrate 10 years of Bolts hockey in Evansville.
