I'm Izzy or as many of you know me as Izzy G. I am a busy person and I don’t have enough time to stop home and cook food. I also live 20 minutes away from school with good traffic, so therefore I eat out. Sometimes I’ll eat out, big meals if I don’t eat for the rest of the day, and then small things to snack on.
I am going to be rating some of the fast-food places in Evansville, based on my own personal opinion. So if you read my Food v.s. Food blog a while ago that’s kinda what we are gonna bring back. I get out of school at 11:00 and that gives me a 40-minute lunch and with time to grab food and go to the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center or, SICTC. Let's get on with the ratings. I’m gonna go by distance from my house to make this easier for myself.
McDonald's: I only go there for breakfast which is delish.
Wendys: Strawberry Lemonade 10/10.
Spudz-N-Stuff: Solid spuds. I recommend creating your own. I get the BBQ chicken spud, add ranch, add bacon. *Chef’s Kiss*
Dairy Queen: They are pretty solid. It’s a classic for a blizzard or cheese curds. I go here a lot.
Sonic: Do I even have to explain this one? The drinks themselves just make it amazing for me.
Taco Bell: I only go here if I'm craving tacos and want them ASAP. Baja Blasts: 10/10
Burger King:I literally only go here for chicken fries and slushies but now McDonald's has those so…
GD Ritzy’s: I only go here for the shoestring fries. The ice cream is pretty solid too, mostly the milkshakes.
Arby’s: The fries and the roast beef just take me back to my childhood memories when you get done swimming after a long day and you pick up and start eating your turkey and chips sandwich with a CapriSun. Ahh, memories.
Popeyes: The biscuit was okay but with a drink. The fries were good though.
Subway: It’s the same reason as Arby’s for me with the sandwich.
Chava’s: I love Chava’s wish it was more places. Their burritos just hit differently.
Dunkin’: It’s like a little surprise in a cup. They are connected to a Baskin-Robbins so I can get smoothies too. I just love it so much.
Starbucks: The Dragon Fruit Refresher is worth a taste!
Azzip Pizza: I’m pretty basic, but they do have fancy pizza options and tastes each month.
Chick-Fil-A: I LOVE IT. I would get married at a Chick-Fil-A if I could.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers: I have so many memories at Cane’s from road trips and friendships. Cane’s will always hold a special place in my heart. Cane’s sauce is the best, in my humble opinion. I highly recommend a little road trip to try it out in Owensboro, KY.
These are my personal ratings of some of the fast-food places I have tried over an 18 year lifetime. I would take this list to heart. Izzy G definitely doesn’t lie ;)
