Today I want to talk about three activities you can do in the fall that will bring your mood up and make your day better. I personally haven’t tried these activities but they are definitely on my bucket list for this fall. This year has been a struggle for not only me but the people around me with not being able to get out and do the things we normally do. All of these activities that I am going to mention you can do at home or outside there are no limits
One of the things you can do on a fall day when there's nothing to do and you're just sitting at home is to make a pumpkin pie. This is an activity that you can do with friends and family or simply by yourself, there are no rules here. There are plenty of recipes online that you can choose from or you can come up with your own recipe. Coming up with your own recipe is one way to get creative and try to incorporate different ingredients into your pie-making session. I personally have tried many times to come up with my own recipes and some have been a rather delicious success and some if not most have been a complete failure. In the end, it’s not about making the best pie, it’s about having fun and making new memories.
This next activity can go along with the first one I mentioned which is going on a picnic. Fall weather is the perfect time to go on a picnic if that’s what you have been wanting to do. During the beginning of fall, it’s not too cold or hot so you don’t have to worry about the weather. There are a lot of things to choose from when it comes to picnics. It doesn't have to be a regular picnic. You can do paintings, our arts and crafts and anything to make it fun and interesting to you.
The last but certainly not least activity on my list is throwing a Friendsgiving, now this one I think out of all the ones that are listed before is the one that I want to do the most. This is a great way to strengthen your friendship and also make new friends. Friendsgiving doesn’t have to be between your current friend group, inviting new people is one way a new long-time friendship can be made. Of course making sure we stay covid friendly you can have thanksgiving in a park or in a backyard, somewhere that is spacious. Again I am a big advocate of making things your own so don’t be afraid to mix things up a little.
These aren't the only fall activities that you can do as there are plenty of others but these are the ones that I wanted to share with you. They are fun, safe, and relaxing activities that you can do and are cost-effective for all. Don’t be afraid to go out of the box and make everything custom to you. It's all about having fun and being creative, I hope you can try these yourself.
